Key Insight

Meta's own attribution data, published consistently through 2024 and 2025, finds that the creative asset accounts for 60-70% of paid campaign performance variance. Audiences, bid strategies, placements, time-of-day — all of it combined accounts for less than the creative does. Yet most brands still treat creative as a quarterly exercise, producing one campaign of ads, running it for three months, watching performance decay, and wondering what changed. What changed is the creative stopped being new.

Bad creative is not just neutral — it actively makes paid spend more expensive. The Meta and Google algorithms both penalize ads with low engagement signals (skip rates, low watch-through, low CTR) by raising the auction price required to deliver the same impressions. So a stale or poorly produced asset compounds: it costs more per impression AND converts at a lower rate. Brands burning through six-figure monthly budgets on tired creative are often spending 2-3x what an equally-targeted campaign with fresh, on-brief creative would cost.

Performance creative is structurally different from social-vanity creative. A piece of content that gets a million views does not necessarily drive a single sale. Performance creative has clear hooks (the first 1-3 seconds either earn the watch or lose it), explicit problem-solution framing, a single dominant CTA, and platform-native pacing. Our creative team is briefed in terms of paid metrics — hook rate, hold rate, click-through, conversion — not in terms of how artful the cut is. Performance and craft are not opposites, but they are aimed at different things.

Our brief-to-delivery pipeline is designed for the cadence modern brands actually need. For retainer clients we run monthly half-day shoots that produce 25-40 production-ready assets per month — short-form video for paid social, UGC-style founder content, product photography, and graphics. Briefs are written and approved within 48 hours, shoot is scheduled within a week, post is delivered within seven days of shoot. The full loop runs 14 days from brief to in-market. For urgent paid campaigns we can compress the loop to 24-72 hours.

Single hero pieces of content lose to creative volume in nearly every paid context. The right campaign has 20-40 variants in test rotation at any one time — different hooks against the same offer, different angles for different audience segments, different format ratios for different placements. The algorithm sorts winners faster than any human can, but only if there is enough variant volume to actually find a winner. We produce for the volume the algorithm needs, not for the slow agency-review cadence that most production houses operate at.

Every piece of creative we ship gets tagged with a UTM and tracked in the paid-media reporting stack. We measure each asset on hook rate (3-second watch retention), hold rate (full-watch percentage), thumb-stop ratio, and downstream conversion rate. Monthly creative reviews identify the top quintile of performers, and the elements that made them work — hook style, framing, length, message — feed back into the next month production brief. This turns creative from an artistic exercise into a measurable iteration loop.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of video do you produce?

Short-form social video, long-form YouTube and brand films, ad creative for paid platforms, product photography and video, UGC and founder-style content, podcasts and interviews, animated explainers, and TV commercials. Most retainer clients use us for a mix of paid creative and organic social content.

Do you handle both production and editing?

Yes. We are full-service in-house — concept, script, shoot, edit, color, sound, motion graphics, and delivery — under one team. The pipeline is faster and the creative is more cohesive when one team owns the whole loop instead of brokering each phase to a different vendor.

How long does a typical project take?

Brief to in-market is 14 days for a standard creative sprint. Urgent paid campaigns can run 24-72 hours from brief to first asset live. Larger brand films or TV-grade spots run 21-45 days depending on cast, location, and shoot complexity.

Can you produce content for paid ads specifically?

Yes — and it is the majority of what we produce. Paid creative requires a different brief, different pacing, and different volume than brand film or social-vanity content. Our team is briefed in paid metrics (hook rate, hold rate, conversion) and we produce 15-25 ad variants per month per active client to feed the volume the algorithm actually needs.

Do you offer ongoing content retainers?

Yes — most of our work is monthly retainer. A typical retainer includes one half-day shoot per month, 25-40 production-ready assets across formats, async edits and revisions, and a monthly creative review against paid performance data. Retainer clients get faster turnarounds and predictable monthly content volume.
